The principle of the bill was based on the fact that workers of the gas service can come later than the established term and forcefully install the gas bill device, forcing the owners to pay off their own pockets. The most profitable order was for firms that were engaged in installing gas meters. The counter was not profitable for citizens living alone, or those who used this type of fuel only for cooking. Drawing attention to this feature, the government from the end of December 2014 approved a presidential decree, which abolished the obligation to install, if citizens used less than 2 cubic meters of fuel per hour. This order came into force in 2015, and those who used gas also for heating, postponed the installation period from January 2016 to 2019.

Therefore, the organization responsible for fuel consumption, informs citizens about the amendments adopted by the president. The counter is not an obligatory measure at the moment, therefore citizens can breathe peacefully. The main thing is not to exceed the limit, which is specified in the bill. It is interesting that if there is equipment in the house or apartment that creates an excess of gas consumption, the meter is necessary, but there is no penalty for the installation not specified by the legislature.

Also, there are no penalties for expired installation dates, as they are transferred by the government itself. When the meter is installed, there is a penalty for not checking in time the device itself. The check is scheduled, the inspection period is specified by the manufacturer.

Having decided that the meter is necessary to account for gas consumption, it is worthwhile to use the services of specialists. The last paragraph requires some clarification, since there is a certain procedure for applying to this instance:

• the application must contain information about the applicant's passport data;
• the telephone number on which you can contact;
• an indication of the estimated date of commissioning the device;
• technical data of the device - type and serial number;
• the place where the meter is installed;
• information about the service that performed the installation;
• indications which are fixed on the device at the time of installation;
• date of planned planned inspection.

From the time of application to the arrival of specialists usually takes no more than three days. You can note only two requirements-refinements, which should be taken into account when installing:

• the meter itself should be more than 80 cm away from the gas stove or column;
• there must also be a certain height of setting - not less than 1 m 20 cm.

The cost of work is different, it all depends on the availability of additional gas appliances in the apartment or house. The counter for calculating gas consumption will pay off only if there are additional means of using this fuel. The device does not save gas by itself. It simply shows the real picture of consumption to the owner.

Who benefits?

A very small percentage of the population who actually benefits from installing a gas flow calculation device:

• large families registered and living on the same housing area;
• pensioners who have relatives registered, but do not actually live with them under the same roof;
• renting a room under a social investment agreement, but local authorities are involved in the installation.
